RePair Technology

This technology was developed to guide the recovery of arm and leg movements after a brain, peripheral nerve or spinal cord injury. Sensors are worn on the arms and legs to monitor movements using a smartphone app which triggers the vagus nerve stimulator. This technology allows patients to improve arm and leg movement using a few small sensors and an app on their smartphone during normal daily activities.

How does RePair Technology work?

Sensor, which is worn on the arm or leg, monitors movement.
The sensor sends information to the smartphone app.
The PCM (Power and Communication Module) is triggered by the app.
Then the PCM activates the IPG (Implanted Pulse Generator).
Plasticity is driven to the brain.
